Ramp service agents play a vital role in the smooth functioning of airport operations.
They are responsible for tasks such as sorting, loading and unloading baggage and cargo, providing cabin cleaning services and assisting with aircraft pushback.
Responsibilities
* Efficiently load and unload aircraft baggage.
* Transfer luggage to and from aircraft safely.
* Handle baggage weighing up to 35kg repetitively.
* Operate in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
* Collaborate with team members to maintain seamless operations.
* Manage baggage flow for departing and arriving flights using sorting equipment and manual handling techniques.
Requirements
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster.
* Good physical fitness for lifting up to 32kg.
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
* Basic to intermediate computer skills.
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow.
* Australian Citizen/Resident with unlimited work rights.
* Possession of a valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation.
