As a dedicated Youth Worker, you'll be working closely with young people who have come into contact with the youth justice system. Your role will be crucial in helping us achieve our goal of reducing youth reoffending.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide intensive case work support to young people, including follow-up and referrals to specialist services
* Embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into program design, delivery, and evaluation
* Deliver collaborative, coordinated, and client-centred case management support
* Support young people to take accountability, learn, and change through restorative conferencing, community service, skills development, education, and training
* Monitor and evaluate program outcomes
Requirements:
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people
* Background in youth work or case management roles
* Understanding of complex intergenerational trauma
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Commitment to responding safely and effectively to child protection concerns
