Overview

Our state government partner is seeking an organised and proactive AO3 Business Support Officer to join their team in Emerald. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities
* Provide efficient and professional customer service to a wide range of stakeholders.
* Manage travel bookings, including flights, accommodation, charters, ferries, and car hire, within required timeframes.
* Monitor and manage internal and external correspondence and telephone calls, ensuring timely responses.
* Work within a fast-paced environment with KPIs and performance monitoring mechanisms.
* Connect with industry, local suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
* Contribute positively to team culture while performing recurring administrative tasks.
* Maintain high standards and accuracy when compiling documents, reports, and updating information systems (e.g., Microsoft Office).
* Handle enquiries independently and escalate appropriately when required.
* Develop and maintain procedures, manuals, and registers, contributing to process improvements.
* Undertake general administration functions as required.
Mandatory requirements
* Strong customer service skills with a commitment to excellence.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
