About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to function as a member of the team in the provision of sterilisation services under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife. Assist in the provision of nursing and midwifery team support and for delegated actions in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Decision Making Framework.
Mandatory qualifications/professional registration/other requirements
Appointment to this position requires proof of a Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (or equivalent) provided by a registered training organisation e.g. Technical and Further Education (TAFE). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervision/manager prior to the commencement of employment.

- Assist in identifying risks and opportunities for improvement and change to promote safe work activities, report workplace incidents and participate in collaborative review of systems and processes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development by attending education and training sessions relevant to the area of practice.
- Participate in performance development and planning activities.
