Your new role
Due to an internal recruitment round, they are currently seeking a Maintenance Officer to fill some gaps while they look for their long-term team member. The opportunity has the potential for full-time work at their Goulburn site, part-time work from a Canberra site or part-time work across both locations. In this role, some of your duties will include:
* Provide outstanding customer service to the residents
* Perform general reactive and preventative building maintenance such as fixing taps, changing light bulbs, general gardening, external building care and other basic repairs and building upkeep.
* Organise and liaise with trades persons for any maintenance that is outside your scope of capability
* Update and escalate to your supervisor as required.
* Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 4pm
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application to this role you will need:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role
* A trade certification will be held in high regard
* The ability to undergo and pass a national police check is essential
* A valid driver's license and reliable transport
What you'll get in return
This is a contract role, going for 6-8 weeks and paying $40 per hour. Should you excel in the contract role and be interested, you may be considered by the client for the permanent full-time opportunity in Goulburn that this contract role is supporting during the recruitment process.
