The work you'll do on this Defence contract will take your boilermaking skills to the next level. You'll be working to strict Defence-quality standards, learning new techniques, and gaining experience with high-precision fabrication that isn't available in most workshops.
This is a chance to develop specialist skills, work alongside some of the best boilermakers in the country and build new skills that will set you up for future career progression in heavy fabrication and Defence manufacturing.

What We Offer
* Casual rates: $51.20 – $58.88 per hour + penalties
* Unlimited overtime available through to August 2028

About You
* Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent), or close to completing
* Minimum 5+ years post trade experience (highly regarded)
* Experience working to Welding Procedure Specifications
* Proficient in MIG and TIG welding, plus plasma gouging
* Experience with high-hardness steels (desirable, not essential)
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done
* Comfortable committing to a minimum 6-month period (longer stays welcomed)
