Communications & Marketing Assistant
Head Office – Dual Venue Nightclub & Bar Group
Are you an energetic, organised communicator who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment? We're looking for a Communications & Marketing Assistant to join our Head Office team and support two of the city's busiest and most iconic nightlife venues - Botanica Bar & The Den Salamanca.
About the Role
In this dynamic position, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests—managing all external communications, responding to enquiries, coordinating bookings, and supporting the delivery of private functions and events. You'll work closely with our Head of Operations and Marketing to ensure our operations run smoothly and our brand voice remains strong, consistent, and engaging. The right candidate will have a strong affinity for creating relevant content that captures the essence of the brand that aligns with the businesses current goals.
What You'll Do
* Manage all guest communications across email, phone, and social platforms
* Coordinate event and function bookings from enquiry through to execution
* Maintain a professional, friendly, and brand‑aligned tone in all written communication
* Assist the marketing team with content creation, social media scheduling, and promotions
* Prepare communication templates, guest information packs, and booking documentation
* Support day‑to‑day administrative operations in a fast‑moving environment
* Collaborate with venue management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
What We're Looking For
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
* Experience in hospitality, events, marketing, customer service and/or admin
* Confidence managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines
* A proactive mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed
* Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing principles
* Friendly, resilient, and able to perform well in a high‑energy environment
* High‑level customer service skills, with the ability to confidently and enthusiastically manage customer expectations and requirements

Part‑time position: minimum requirements Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Due to the nature of the role and hospitality industry a successful candidate may be required to work public holidays/weekends/late nights to assist with events & marketing. Position is open to all candidates. Applicants able to commence with an immediate start are preferential.
