Legal Practice Director Full‐Time (4 days: Tuesday‐Friday) $180,000‐$250,000 + performance incentive
We are seeking an experienced Legal Practice Director (LPD) to join the firm in a senior employed capacity.
This is a salaried employee role, not an equity, partnership, or owner position, although future structural opportunities may be open for discussion for the right candidate. You will act as Legal Practice Director under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (WA), with responsibility for compliance and legal operations, while working within a broader business and governance structure.
The Role
You will:
* Serve as Legal Practice Director of the firm (as an employee Director)
* Establish and maintain compliance systems and risk frameworks
* Supervise legal staff and ensure high‐quality service delivery
* Oversee legal operations, file management, and client outcomes
* Contribute to financial performance and operational efficiency
* Engage with the Board and regulators (LPBWA) as required
* Support the development of a structured, compliant and scalable practice
This is a hands‐on leadership role with accountability, not a passive or advisory position.
What We're Looking For
* Unrestricted WA practising certificate with eligibility to act as LPD
* Experience in legal practice management or senior leadership
* Strong understanding of:
o Uniform Law compliance
o Trust accounting and supervision obligations
o Risk and governance in a legal practice
o Commercial awareness and ability to operate within a business‐led environment
o High level of professional judgment and integrity
Role Structure (Important)
This is a salaried employee position.
You will not be required to contribute capital or hold equity.
You are required to be appointed as a Director of the Company in a shared role with the majority shareholder.
The firm operates with board‐level oversight and centralised business management.
