Overview
We have a team of twenty accounting and financial planning staff dedicated to providing our clients with high‐standard service using up‐to‐date technology and practice systems with a focus on cloud‐based accounting. We are looking for a senior accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Contact a range of clients and respond to client queries.
* Prepare complex tax returns for all entity types.
* Review work of junior staff and manage junior accountants assisting with workload.
* Play an active role in evaluating financial performance by gathering, analysing, summarising and interpreting data.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills.
* 5+ years in public practice at a reputable Australian accounting firm.
* Completed CPA or CA studies.
* Ability to prepare financial statements and all tax returns to completion, applying appropriate tax strategies.
* Extensive knowledge of general accounting principles.
* Self‐driven motivation to learn and develop a career in public practice.
* Exposure to a variety of entity types and sizes.
* Team‐player and capable of working collaboratively.
Position Details
This is a full‐time/part‐time role with flexible hours and a hybrid working arrangement possible. Salary is negotiable.
