Commencement Date: Monday 19 January ****Salary Range: $***** - $***** per hour pending experience + SuperJoin our team as a School Officer- Emerging Leaders at Southern Cross Catholic College, Annandale.We're looking for passionate and dedicated School Officer- Emerging Leaders to work in a Fixed Term, Term Time capacity of 10 hours per week Monday to Friday.
The position commences on 19 January **** and will conclude on 4 December ****.The primary purpose of the School Officer - Emerging Leaders is to work in collaboration with teachers to provide appropriate advice, practical support and guidance to assist First Nation students with learning and development.
This role also provides quality, timely and efficient coordination and administration support to the Emerging Leaders Project.
The School Officer - Emerging Leaders works under the guidance of the College Principal, Emerging Leaders Project Officer and First Nation Education Advisers to provide assistance to First Nation students to optimise student learning outcomes in a supported environment with a range of cultural and educational programs.The role holder will be required to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality in the performance of all duties and the ability to prioritise the work demands of the college and the Emerging Leaders Project.Guided by Catholic values, you'll embrace the school's mission, prioritise student safety and wellbeing, and help create a welcoming, supportive environment where every learner feels they belong.Set on the tropical coast of North Queensland, Townsville blends the energy of a thriving regional city with the warmth of a welcoming community.
