About the Role
We have an exciting and rewarding support opportunity for Enrolled Nurses. Located in Lilydale, you will be part of a 24/7 care team to support a Our paediatric client, who is living at home with a Traumatic Spinal Cord Injury, You will provide full assistance with all ADL's as well as catheter care, bowel care and pressure area management. Due to the nature and complexity of the client's needs, you will need to have relevant disability experience. An extensive onboarding program will be provided with buddy shifts to help you with your transition.
The right candidates will be flexible and available to do a mix of afternoon and weekend shifts on ongoing basis with some flexibility to help with open shifts.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Manual handling using hoists
* Personal care
* Continence Management
* Medication Administration
* Follow a behaviour support plan
* Assist with meal preparation
* Deliver true and authentic companionship to the client
* Champion the client to achieve their set goals for the day
* Assist and support the client in the home and out in the community
About You
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Previous disability experience (minimum 2 years)
* Manual handling Experience (Essential)
* Catheter Management experience
* Valid Australian Driver's License
* Proof of rights to work in Australia
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current CPR and First Aid certificates
* NDIS Orientation Module certificate
* Proof of your right to work in Australia
