Clinical Nurse, Rural Health Service Group – Charters Towers Health Service, Charters Towers, Nurse Grade 6 Band 1, Fixed Term Temporary Part-time to 24/02/2027

Provide advanced nursing leadership and coordinate complex care within a supportive rural team delivering quality services to the Charters Towers community.

Charters Towers Health Service is part of the Rural Health Service Group, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to communities across the region. Our multidisciplinary teams provide acute care, emergency services, and community-based health support, ensuring safe and accessible healthcare for rural Queenslanders.

Competitive salary and benefits

* Salary between $ $60.05 per hour (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1).
* 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with % loading.
* Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide advanced clinical leadership, coordinate patient care, and support a positive practice environment. This role requires autonomous practice, critical thinking and the ability to guide and mentor staff, contributing to quality outcomes across the Charters Towers Health Service.

Requirements

* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
* AHPRA registration with a current practising certificate.
* Evidence of vaccination or immunity to VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
* Ability to participate in shift work and on-call rosters.
* Class C driver licence.
* A probationary period may apply.
