Australia greater geelong contract up to au$602.55 per dayTalent International is searching for a Assistant Director of the Co-Design & Engagement branch within a Geelong based Federal national disability support organisation on a 12- month contract.
Based in central Geelong, paying a daily rate of $602.55 + 11% superannuation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Providing specialist advice and support to the Director to deliver co-design activities.
- Providing specialist co-design knowledge and expertise on new and innovative approaches for engaging with people with disability and other stakeholders.
- Designing, implementing, and evaluating targeted and proactive co-design strategies.
- Supporting the delivery of co-design activities including the design, planning, delivery, outcomes tracking and evaluation of each activity.
- Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to improve the way we capture and analyse co-design data and insights to inform decision-making.
- Developing plans and co-design strategies that require a detailed analysis of diverse research, data and views.
- Preparing reports, briefing papers, Ministerial correspondence, and discussion papers for review by Senior Executives.
- Representing the NDIA in stakeholder interactions and meetings, delivering effective messaging to people with disability, their families, and carers as well as other community and mainstream stakeholders.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Strategic Stakeholder Management skills, maintaining close working relationships with key national representative and peak bodies.
- Understanding of the Disability Advocacy sector and ability to represent the NDIA in stakeholder interactions.
- Ability to identify and mitigate reputational risks associated with communication, engagement, and business activities.
- Ability to lead a team to deliver timely, innovative, efficient, and evidence-based advice on inclusive engagement practices, strategies and actions that align with the NDIA's Corporate Plan objectives.
- Ability to manage the ongoing implementation and governance arrangements of inclusive strategies.
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate targeted and proactive engagement strategies.
- Experience preparing reports, briefing papers, etc. for senior executives and government officials including the Minister's Office.
- Experience in the disability sector and engaging with government.
