This Human Resources Manager position oversees all aspects of human resources practices and processes, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with laws and regulations.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's business strategy.
* Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
* Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
* Handle employee relations issues, including resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and providing coaching and counselling to employees and managers.
* Manage performance appraisal processes and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
* Develop and administer employee training and development programs to enhance skills and performance.
* Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, payroll processing, and benefits enrolment.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
* Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
* Consistently achieve or exceed legislative requirements and company performance expectations within budget constraints.
* Work closely with all levels of management and various stakeholders, including the HR team, injury management coordinator, legal consultants, unions, and training providers.
