Overview
Blade Pile is Australia's largest end-to-end provider of screw piling services. Our head office and manufacturing facility is located in Yatala, QLD, with distribution centers around Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for a junior engineer to join our growing team and work alongside our experienced engineers and project managers.
In this role, you will be working within our QLD project team, assisting with estimations and processing engineering certifications with the opportunity to grow within our expanding technical team. You will start by learning to design foundations, quote and assist with projects and prepare forms and complete engineering certification. You will be liaising and solving problems with senior engineers internally, helping solve on-site issues in real time and working with other team members on other relevant tasks. This role will provide you the opportunity to grow and build a career within the Blade Pile Group and pursue a direction that best suits you.
Responsibilities
Assess loads and design foundations for residential projects
Liaise with engineers
Answer office phone calls
Prepare engineering documents
Provide technical support to on-site team members
Solve engineering issues
Work within the Microsoft software ecosystem
Assist with estimations and processing engineering certifications
Design foundations, quote projects, prepare forms and complete engineering certification (on the path to growth within the technical team)
Job Requirements
Must have the legal right to work in Australia, either citizenship or permanent residency.
Local work experience and knowledge of Australian standards and regulations.
Must have a degree recognised by Engineers Australia (Civil or Mechanical).
Due to significant phone contact with customers, strong proficiency in the English language is required.
Local hire only i.e., Brisbane or Gold Coast

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Thursday; 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Fridays.
