Senior Project Engineer – NBN - Aerial Program

Ventia has been a strategic partner to NBN Co since 2010, delivering end-to-end services, including design, construction, on-demand deployment, field services, and network operations and assurance.
The scope encompasses network assurance, service assurance, customer connections, service activation and other associated programs across all nbn Fixed Line technologies, including aerial infrastructure.

About the Role
The team are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead a workstream of delivery for the customer NBN Connections across QLD/Northern NSW. With a hybrid working environment, our office is based in Brisbane, West End, or Staplyton.
The selected candidate will ideally have experience within the Aerial program space driving a harmonious work environment for the team, as well as ensuring program excellence, budget management and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities will include:

o Identify, recruit and onboard suitable Project Team resources and Subcontractors/Delivery Suppliers
o Build a strong, high performing team, aligned to our purpose and enterprise strategic objectives
o Organise and lead all key meetings with Project Team, Clients and other Project Stakeholders
o Identify and develop strategies to manage all risks and realise opportunities
o Analyse monthly project and financial performances as necessary
o Relentlessly pursue our Safe for Life Philosophy and promote a caring culture
o Clearly understand all contractual obligations and entitlements, including KPI's and delivering to the customer's needs
o Managing relationship with asset owners.

Required Skills and Experience:

o 3+ years Project Engineer or similar experience, within the Aerial program of works
o Strong focus and demonstrated knowledge of asset owners and compliance requirements to work on the aerial network.
o Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
o Demonstrated experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders
o Process oriented and outcome focussed
o General Industry Induction Card
