Synergie Australia is seeking a Front End Dev UI Designer for a trusted client located in the ACT.
The important parts:
* Pay: $61–$67 per hour + Super | ⏳ Duration: 12-month contract (potential for extension)
* Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating roster between 8:00am–6:00pm | 40 hrs per week
What you will be required to do:
This role blends front-end development and UI design to deliver user-centric digital services. You’ll work in cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and build intuitive interfaces, ensuring accessibility, usability, and alignment with business and user needs.
* Design and iterate user interfaces based on user feedback
* Develop responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Translate wireframes and prototypes into high-quality front-end code
* Conduct usability testing and implement improvements
* Collaborate with designers, researchers, and engineers
To be successful in the role you will:
* Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular
* Proven UI/UX design experience within design systems
* Experience applying WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
* Ability to translate usability insights into design improvements
* Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills
