About Us: We are seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our workshop in West Gosford. We specialise in servicing and maintaining our own fleet of vehicles, which includes rigid trucks, prime movers, Truck and Dogs, trailers, construction and plant equipment. All of our trucks are only dealing with construction waste and are not exposed to food or odoured waste.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in maintaining and servicing a safe and reliable fleet of vehicles and equipment
* Perform basic and major truck and trailer servicing in compliance with NHVR accreditation
* Work on modern trucks and equipment, including Isuzu, Kenworth, DAF, Kubota, CAT
* Monitor and inspect plant equipment as required
Skills and Experience:
* Trade qualified
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Completing accurate records of repairs and servicing
* Reliable and honest
