We’re on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Copywriter to join our existing two copywriters within the Creative Marketing department. This dynamic role is responsible for writing, proofing, and assisting in all aspects of copy across the business.
What you will be doing:
* Maintain Brand Voice & Cohesion: Ensure all written content is aligned with our brand tone of voice and messaging guidelines across all assigned tasks.
* Produce Marketing-Led Copy: Write innovative, engaging, and conversion-focused copy for a wide range of platforms, with consideration for SEO best practices where relevant.
* Execute Diverse Copy Tasks: Create and support the development of various content types including organic and paid social media captions, blog posts, email copy, product descriptions, category pages, and digital/print advertising materials.
* Proofread & Provide Feedback: Review and refine written content across the wider copywriter and marketing teams, offering constructive feedback and ensuring high standards of accuracy and consistency.
* Deliver On Deadlines: Manage time effectively to ensure all creative assets are delivered on schedule, while maintaining quality under tight deadlines.
* Contribute to Creative Strategy: Collaborate with the wider creative and marketing team to contribute ideas and support broader content strategies.
* Support Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with other duties including admin tasks as directed by management to support the team and business goals.
You Ideally Have:
* A tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field
* Some hands-on experience writing for brands – this could be through internships, freelance work, study, or personal projects
* A strong grasp of grammar, structure, and storytelling principles
* A desire to develop your craft and gain exposure to a wide variety of writing tasks
* A proactive mindset and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
