Vacancy 25/80 - Leading Hand - Line Marking - Works (Re-advertised)

We are seeking applications for a Leading Hand to establish new and maintain existing line marking and signage on Council and Transport and Main Roads (TMR) controlled roads.
About the role
The Leading Hand will be responsible for a small team to carry out line marking works, ensuring works are completed in accordance with the relevant work plans and work procedures. The Leading Hand will also ensure daily maintenance is performed and thorough cleaning of line marking equipment is completed to ensure full serviceability.
We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership skills to mentor, direct and organise works for employees and relevant contractors. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential to ensure clear direction is provided and instructions/job plans are followed.
Under the direction of the supervisor, the Leading Hand may be required to carry out other construction and maintenance works with the Works Department.
