Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team.
About The Role
This role plays a vital part in maintaining heavy earth moving plant equipment to a high standard and meeting required targets. The successful applicant will demonstrate experience in the safe maintenance of field equipment and be willing to actively participate in a culture that focuses on delivery of results through effective teamwork, proactive safety performance, and continuous improvement.
* Work on a variety of plant and equipment including electric shovels, Liebherr, and Hitachi excavators, and blast hole drills to keep the operation running smoothly and reduce downtime.
* Diagnose equipment faults and repair in accordance with OEM requirements & site processes.
* In-pit diagnosis and repair of machinery.
* Provide routine maintenance & breakdown support to the HVO fleet.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
* Identify and diagnose equipment faults using technical skills and knowledge.
* Repair or replace faulty equipment in accordance with OEM guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve operational goals.
