Join Westpac's Financial Crime Surveillance (FCS) team and play a vital role in protecting customers and the bank from financial crime risks.
What's the role?
We're looking for Operations Manager, Onboarding Support & Exits to lead a team responsible for day-to-day financial crime prevention activities, including Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD). You'll manage and optimise operational processes to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and internal policies, while driving efficiency and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
The role combines leadership, operational excellence, and strategic oversight—working closely with stakeholders across the bank to strengthen risk management and ensure robust controls against money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Paramatta (NSW) or Adelaide (SA).
What do I need?
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Experience across Anti Money Laundering / Counter Terrorism Finance / Financial Crime Regulations
* Substantial experience in leadership positions and proven team development skills
* Proactive, strategic, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
* Ability to use business metrics to manage operations to drive efficiency and increase performance
* Demonstrated experience in Relationship Management with Internal, External and Senior stakeholders
* Strong Understanding and applying the principles of risk management
