As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. Typical responsibilities include:Working in diverse settings such as homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, and community centresUtilizing assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS fundingBuilding meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, using positive behaviour support frameworksConducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challengesAttending weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing impact stories, and fostering team camaraderieReceiving support from your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy MentorWho We Are Looking ForOur team thrives on shared values and collaboration.
