About the role This position of Commercial Business Development Manager will create and deliver Commercial category growth in specialised textiles solutions. This role will develop and utilise their unique customer value proposition to ensure their range of specialised textiles are front of mind for decision makers in business and government departments. These include shade fabric, agricultural knitted protection, polymer coated fabric, coated and laminated paper solutions. The pipeline of projects and specification utilising their technical fabrics and paper solutions will enable maximisation of manufacturing capacity through their facility based in Melbourne. This will be a standalone role based in NSW and as such, will have autonomy to lead the state in its growth, with the full support of the Commercial Sales team in VIC, NSW and WA. Duties Investigate and map new B2B customers and end consumer target markets for existing product portfolio. Identify and pursue growth opportunities, maintaining a Growth Pipeline. Diversify market share by leveraging the distributor network. Develop business cases for target customers, outlining opportunities and execution plans. Collaboratively pursue opportunities to ensure a seamless customer experience. Actively participate in idea generation for new product development and expansion into new industries.
