About The Role
The Family Health Coordinator role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Maternal and Child Health professional to shape service excellence in a capital-city environment.
You will lead clinical governance, service planning and integration, build workforce capability and foster a constructive culture across a dedicated Family Health team.
Your leadership will help set the standard for high-quality, customer-centred family health services across Melbourne.
In this role you will deliver impactful outcomes for families, strengthen public health services and support the strategic goals of the City of Melbourne.
Responsibilities
Provide system-level clinical governance and ensure regulatory compliance.
Lead business, workforce and service-model planning aligned to reform and growth.
Strengthen integration across Family and Children Services at the City of Melbourne.
Build capability, culture and performance across the Family Health workforce.
Ensure services are responsive, inclusive and accessible to Melbourne's diverse and rapidly growing communities, supporting equitable outcomes for all families.

About You
You are a values-driven leader who brings extensive expertise in child and family health, with strong capability in clinical governance, systems thinking and people leadership.
What your experience might look like – Key Selection Criteria
Current AHPRA registration as a division 1 Registered Nurse and Midwife, plus MCH qualifications.
Expertise in child and family health nursing, including translating evidence into service models.
Experience leading teams through people leaders, with strong workforce development capability.
Proven ability to implement service improvements, policies, and quality frameworks.
Experience in financial and business planning within a complex service environment.
