About the opportunity
Altrad are seeking an experienced PIF Supervisor to support the delivery of a major oil and gas project located on Barrow Island, forming part of our core crew.
Working a 2:2 roster ex Perth, this supervisory role is a key frontline leadership position, responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of maintenance and reliability activities.
You will lead crews in the field, set clear expectations, and proactively manage risk, productivity, and performance to ensure work is delivered to plan and in line with Altrad's values.
This is an opportunity to play a hands-on role in operational excellence while contributing to a zero-harm culture on a high-profile asset.
In this role, you will:
Conduct effective pre-starts and toolbox talks to ensure crews clearly understand daily scope, risks, and expectations.
Prepare and coordinate work activities by confirming permits, resources, and equipment are in place to minimise downtime and delays.
Provide hands-on field supervision to ensure work is progressing to plan, hazards are managed, and standards are consistently met.
Complete and review safety and compliance documentation, including JHAs, Take 5s, and Period Loss Prevention inspections.
Manage operational administration, including CMMS close-outs and accurate completion of crew timesheets.
Support site operations by undertaking additional tasks as required, consistent with your skills, experience, and professional capability.

About you
You're a skilled, safety-first supervisor with the experience and qualifications to lead PIF crews on complex oil and gas projects.
Relevant trade qualifications in Painting or Insulation, with proven supervisory experience on maintenance oil and gas projects.
Demonstrated frontline leadership, capable of managing and motivating crews effectively.
Rope Access certification (Level 3 preferred; Level 1 considered).
Recognised inspection certifications, such as NACE Coating and ICorr Insulation (highly desired).
Mandatory experience within oil and gas operations.
Strong leadership and accountability skills, consistently driving high standards in the field.
