Manage a small team of Security Engineer's involved in presales, deployment & support of this company's Cyber Security software products. $180-190k

Their solutions are utilized by a diverse group of clients in State & Federal Government, Managed Security Services, and large commercial enterprise.
**THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
As the Manager, Security Engineering you will be in a customer-facing role that is central to the sale, installation, and support of the firm's cyber security software products/solutions.
It's a hands-on management position overseeing a small team of Security Engineers who support & implement these products/solutions.
You'll work in a close-knit team of tenured and passionate cyber security professionals. Product specific training will be provided.
Hybrid working - 3 days in Chatswood office, 2 days WFH.
**_Responsibilities include: _**
- Lead a small team of Security Engineers who support the organisations security product lifecycle (presales, deployment & support).
- Manage, allocate, and develop a small team of 3 direct reports (Security Engineers).
- Customer management & technical account management.
- Technical pre-sales & product demonstrations - including POC, architectural design, technical product pitching.
- Product implementation & customer support.
- Assist with ongoing product design, development & improvement.
- Working closely with Development & Security Engineering teams in Australia and the UK to resolve customer issues.
- Travel to customer sites as needed.
- Training on company specific products will be provided.
- Hybrid working - 3 days in Chatswood office, 2 days WFH.
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, PERSONAL QUALITIES**
Suitable for a tenured Security Engineer/Architect experienced in customer-facing roles leading small teams.
Presales and security architecture design experience is required.
Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 clearance is a must.
**_The following is required: _**
- Proven Cyber Security Engineering experience (i.e. install, deploy, configure & support security devices).
- Experience in customer-facing roles - e.g. pre-sales, account management, managing service delivery, product demo's etc.
- Demonstrated staff management experience.
- Cyber Security architectural design experience.
- Good SecOps and IT Infrastructure knowledge & experience.
- Robust Windows domain knowledge.
- Security analytics and SIEM experience is highly beneficial
- Good Security frameworks knowledge (ISM, Essential Eight, NIST, etc)
- Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 clearance is essential.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Able to work autonomously, manage your own priorities, be process driven yet still able to think outside the box.
**This is a full-time permanent role based in Chatswood (hybrid WFH available) and is offering circa $180,000 - $190,000 (plus super) - depending on experience.
