SEN Teaching Assistant - Croydon

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Croydon. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Working closely with teachers and the wider support team, you will play an important role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where pupils can thrive both academically and personally.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
* Assist in delivering tailored learning activities to support individual development
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic progress
* Help implement and support Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
