The opportunity
As a Site Manager for our client, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of a large townhouse project, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position based in the south-west of Brisbane where the client has an extensive pipeline of projects throughout 2026/27.
Key responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation and supervision of workers
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any potential delays or challenges
* Manage the site budget, tracking expenses and making adjustments as needed
* Provide leadership and mentorship to the construction team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience (8+ years) in a site management or construction supervisory role
* Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials and project management best practices
* Ideally have experience managing townhouse projects 30 and above.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors and the construction team
* Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
* Proficiency in project management software and tools
