Overview
Boral is looking for an experiencedBoilermakerto join our Linwood Quarry Team.
The role will be aNightshift-basedrole reporting to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
Your primary responsibilities will be to carry out maintenance and repairs on the fixed plant operations.
Responsibilities
Undertaking and completion of scheduled maintenance, breakdowns and general repairs
Conducting thorough inspections of plant to identify potential issues and prevent future problems
Completion of all necessary paperwork - maintenance checklists, work orders, service reports.
Qualifications
Trade certificate in fabrication or boilermaking
Experienced and competent with both Stick and Mig
Self-Motivated and the ability to work in a team or independently
Site experience preferred but not essential
Quarry or Mining background would be an advantage
High attention to detail and quality of workmanship a must.
Experience in heavy structural steel fabrication
Current Drivers' Licence
