Responsibilities
* Lead design, deployment, and optimization of network and systems solutions for clients.
* Act as an escalation point for Level 1 and 2 engineers, providing advanced troubleshooting and guidance.
* Manage incidents and ensure timely resolution with minimal disruption.
* Architect secure, resilient, and scalable networks tailored to client requirements.
* Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver strategic IT initiatives.
* Conduct network assessments, audits, and performance tuning.
* Maintain documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and procedures.
* Deploy and configure firewalls, switches, servers, and cloud services.
* Provide onsite support for critical issues and project implementations.
* Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and technical operations.
Skills/Must have
* 6+ years in a technical services role, preferably in an MSP environment.
* Proven hands-on experience configuring and managing firewalls (Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco, Ubiquiti).
* Deep knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, IPSEC, VoIP).
* Strong WAN/LAN, routing, switching, load balancing, and network security skills.
* Experience with Azure, Intune, and general systems troubleshooting.
* Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
* Certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Azure Administrator are a plus.
* Nerdy/enthusiastic about tech is a cultural fit.
