How you'll make an impact:
You will perform installation, testing, and commissioning of HV equipment, execute pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and energization support, interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals, ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety procedures, conduct scheduled inspections and condition assessments, perform preventive maintenance activities to maximize asset life and reliability.
You will repair or replace defective components (mechanical, electrical, control), perform emergency breakdown response and restoration activities, carry out root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
You will retrofit and modernization projects for aging HV assets, improve system performance, safety, and digital integration, perform advanced electrical testing and diagnostic assessments and interpret test results and generate technical reports, SF6 gas density and leak detection, manage SF6 gas handling, recovery, and environmental compliance.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering, or related field is an advantage.
A-Grade Electrician. More than 3years of experience in HV equipment servicing (OEMs, substations, utilities).
Strong understanding of high voltage systems and substation operations.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following is highly advantageous: AIS/GIS/Hybrid Switchgear, GCB, CTs and VTs and Disconnectors.
Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and schematics.
Basic knowledge of digital substation technologies is an advantage.
