Salary: The salary range for this role is A$160,000.00-A$220,000.00 per annum.

Job Description:
KPMG's Tax Dispute Resolution and Controversy team are renowned experts in their field, recognized in the legal 500 and International Tax Review. We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing team, who will advise a broad range of clients including large multinationals, high wealth individuals, and respected clients on domestic and cross-border tax issues.

This role involves working with clients to prepare for and resolve risk reviews, audits, and disputes with revenue authorities, including complex ATO audits, preparing objections, briefing counsel, and advising clients on ATO Risk Reviews, Audits, Independent Reviews, and tax litigation.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients and specialists across KPMG to develop their written and oral advocacy skills and provide legal advice, including taxation law and administrative law.

KPMG's Tax Dispute Resolution & Controversy team works nationally on most engagements, so all team members have an opportunity to work across all jurisdictions with partners and team members from other states.

The team collaborates with many other specialist groups across KPMG's Deals, Tax & Legal practice in Australia, as well as internationally, which is a feature of many of the team's engagements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law, and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy in a Big 4 professional services firm, a law firm, or the Australian Taxation Office.

They will have the ability to deliver fully integrated solutions and make decisions to best meet client needs, collaborating as required across KPMG's Tax & Legal practice and the firm.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in the delivery of quality services to clients, providing value-add solutions to clients' problems, is also essential.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, influencing, and project management skills, as well as an ability to motivate and work as part of a high-performing team to achieve outcomes.

To be eligible for this role, you must have a Law Degree. You will also be expected to support firm and practice training by providing knowledge for the development and delivery of training.
