About the Role
We are seeking a Stonemason / Waterjet Operator to operate and maintain our CNC machinery, producing high-quality components from natural stone and porcelain. You will work closely with our production team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate CNC Waterjet machines safely and efficiently
* Load and unload materials using proper manual handling techniques
* Read and interpret technical drawings to accurately mark and machine pieces
* Maintain consistent production of high-quality stone and porcelain components
* Conduct basic CNC programming adjustments as needed
* Identify and troubleshoot production issues proactively
* Ensure the workshop remains clean, safe, and organised
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience operating Waterjet and/or CNC machinery unsupervised
* Knowledge of CNC tooling and machining techniques for stone and porcelain
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and production specifications
* Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to lift and handle heavy materials safely
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements:
* Must undertake required pre-employment medical assessments
* Driver's license and reliable access to a car
