Senior Financial Analyst Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and reporting, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
* About the Role:
* The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate cost data, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
* You will work closely with the Project Manager to develop and execute the Cost Management Plan, providing up-to-date cost information to facilitate sound project decision making.
* The role also involves overseeing variations and revisions to existing budgets, changes to scope and contract variation quotations, analysis of cost trends and cost forecasting.
* In conjunction with the Project Controls Manager, you will manage and mentor a team of Cost Controllers allocated to the project on a day-to-day basis.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain accurate cost data and reporting systems
* Provide regular cost reports and analysis to the Project Manager
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
* Manage and mentor a team of Cost Controllers
* Collaborate with the Project Controls Manager to ensure project financial performance is met
* Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance or relevant discipline
* Strong analytical skills
* Minimum 10+ years' experience as a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst in a multidiscipline project environment
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Strong computer literacy (MS Office package)
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
