**Parking Control Officer Role Description:**
This is a Parking Control Officer position within the Parking Services team. The role involves enforcing parking regulations and restrictions, issuing infringement notices where necessary, and ensuring compliance with council by-laws and state legislation.
**Key Responsibilities include:
* Enforcing the provisions of the Road Safety Act, the relevant regulations pertaining to that Act and the Local Government Act, in line with departmental procedures and practices as advised.
* Conducting regular area patrols, on foot or using council vehicles, according to established procedures.
* Monitoring and enforcing parking restrictions and regulations, issue infringement notices where necessary.
* Responding to public inquiries and providing information regarding parking regulations and services.
* Maintaining accurate records of enforcement activities, including issuing tickets, and submitting reports as required.
