The Location
The Terraces, a 148‑bed residential aged care facility located in Varsity Lakes, near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast and a range of shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and health services.
The Role
You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people's lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
* Vacuum, mop and polish floors.
* Dust, polish and general tidy up.
* Clean bathroom facilities.
* Attend to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' rooms.
* Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
* Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
What Makes You Successful
* Ideally your background will be in cleaning or housekeeping within aged care or hospitality.
* Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team.
* Availability to work various shifts across various days.
* Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate etc.).
* Complete a police check.
