Job Description:
As a seasoned mechanical specialist, you will oversee the assembly, commissioning and preventive maintenance of all TBM equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. Your technical expertise will enable you to effectively manage daily operations, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance overall efficiency.
* Manage and maintain TBM equipment, troubleshoot issues and conduct routine inspections
* Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop new equipment and systems
* Develop and implement safety protocols and training programs for mechanical staff
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a mechanical supervisor or similar role
* Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* Extensive knowledge of TBM operations and underground excavation techniques
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
