We are looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our construction team. In this hands‐on role, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects across our portfolio. You'll work closely with senior project leads, internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
This role provides exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle, offering excellent opportunities for learning and career development within a well‐established national organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction, maintenance, and fit‐out projects.
* Assist senior Project Managers with project scheduling, budgeting, and tracking progress.
* Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities under guidance.
* Attend site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
* Assist with procurement and project documentation, including scopes of work, RFIs, variations, and reports.
* Promote a safe working environment and support compliance with WHS/OHS requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Contribute to problem‐solving and practical solutions to keep projects on track.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2 years' experience in construction, project coordination, or site‐based roles.
* Understanding of construction processes, site operations, and project documentation.
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to work under direction while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
* Tertiary qualification or diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, Building, or related field.
* Exposure to fit‐outs, refurbishment, or maintenance projects.
* Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site‐based teams.
* Knowledge of OH&S/WHS regulations and compliance practices.
