Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll and Remuneration Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll processing for our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, employment hero knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing, including data entry, payroll calculations, and tax filings
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations and award interpretation
* Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Manage employee payroll inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
* Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders
* Prepare and manage contracts for all staff including variations
* Manage onboarding and offboarding in employment hero
* Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related transactions
* Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and regulations and make necessary updates to policies and procedures
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in payroll administration, including experience managing a team
* Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Award interpretation essential
* Proficiency in payroll software (Employment Hero Essential) and Microsoft Office Suite
