About Us
We provide state of the art healthcare for women and children in Adelaide and South Australia.
Our services include specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions, as well as SA's largest maternity and obstetric service. Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided across South Australia.
CAMHS provides care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs, including infants / children / young people up to 18 years old.
The Emergency Mental Health Service (EMHS) is a Child and Adolescent Mental Health nursing led specialist service supported by Psychiatry, located at the Women's and Children's Hospital.
EMHS provides emergency mental health assessment and intervention to clients in the Emergency Department as well as young people who are admitted to medical wards and women who attend the women's assessment service outside of normal business hours.

Job Overview
* This role is responsible for delivering specialist mental health nursing expertise for children, adolescents, peri-natal women and their families with mental health issues.
* Key responsibilities will include providing clinical mental health nursing assessment, risk assessment and clinical intervention to consumers with complex/immediate mental health needs.

Requirements
* You must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a qualification in mental health practice.
* At least 3 years post registration experience is required, preferably in acute and/or child and adolescent mental health settings.
