About Marine Electrical Systems
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrician or Electronics Technician to work across a variety of vessels performing diagnostics, installations, repairs and upgrades on electrical and electronic systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and has a strong understanding of low-voltage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and service 12V/24V DC and 240V AC systems
* Fault-find and repair electrical issues
* Install navigation, communication, radar and control systems
* Carry out battery, charger, inverter and switchboard installations
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will need:
* A qualified Electrician (A Grade) or experience as an Electronics Technician
* A strong understanding of low-voltage systems
* The ability to diagnose faults confidently
* Marine experience is highly regarded but not essential
