Ecological Consultant
We are seeking a senior professional to join our team as an Ecological Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to take ownership of ecological projects, coach and mentor junior team members, and contribute to business growth.
About the Role:
* Lead ecological projects, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
* Coach, mentor, and support a small team of environmental scientists.
* Provide technical expertise in flora, fauna, and natural values, applying relevant legislation with authority.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
* Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities and preparing competitive proposals.
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in ecological consultancy or environmental assessments.
* Strong leadership presence with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
* Proven project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Tasmanian planning schemes, environmental legislation, and assessment processes.
* A strategic mindset and business acumen, with the ability to grow and strengthen client relationships.
