Job Overview
The primary goal of this role is to provide exceptional obstetric and gynaecological care in a complex clinical setting.
Candidates will work under supervision to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to female patients of all ages presenting with various conditions or stages of pregnancy or the puerperium, as well as those with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the gynaecological or genitourinary system.
This position involves working in multiple settings, including inpatient ward care, birthing unit, theatres, and outpatient clinics, requiring flexibility with shifts, including day, evening, night, or on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities
1. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat female patients with various conditions or stages of pregnancy or the puerperium.
2. Provide consultation to female patients with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the gynaecological or genitourinary system.
3. Work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment, utilizing excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise.
4. Lead and direct multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate patient management.
5. Demonstrate time management and problem-solving skills, excellent communication (verbal and written), and computer skills.
6. Prioritize commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
7. Engage in continuing professional development and self-education, as well as deliver undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training.
