About the role

Events and activities extraordinaire! This role creates memories, laughter, and exciting fun for our residents. Based at our Joondalup site, this role maximizes your creativity to coordinate a Lifestyle program—from silent discos to unleashing the inner artist! You will partner with the care team to uncover interests and passions, then bring together meaningful events. This role leads our team and inspires volunteers to deliver your lifestyle program, helping them create, deliver, and host these activities.


About you

You will be someone who lights up a room, can discover what makes people’s hearts sing and faces smile. You are a natural leader with a passion for organization, endless creativity for developing a calendar of events, designing posters and promotional materials, and enthusiasm to bring new ideas to life. You aim to make the world a better place, starting with making someone’s day today! With care, compassion, collaboration, strong organizational skills, IT savvy, and excellent communication skills, you will motivate our team to deliver for residents. Your key experience will include:

* Ideally experience in the aged care sector
* Strong organizational and coordination skills, with experience using MS Office and online platforms
* Excellent time management and administrative skills
* Passion, drive, creativity, and enthusiasm to develop and maintain our lifestyle program
* Great leadership skills, either formal or informal
* Compassion, patience, and deep respect for our residents’ life journeys and stories
* Strong communication skills across diverse audiences
* National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
