The Practice
This is a lovely, successful group of GP owned practices in a beautiful DPA location. The UK GP owner has 2 practices as part of the group and they are looking for an additional doctor to join the team due to high patient demand. You will be working alongside an experienced team of 4 GPs, dedicated nursing support, and will receive excellent operational, clinical management and marketing support. Each practice has a great patient base with volumes to allow you to be busy quickly with plenty of professional support to ease through the early days.

No after-hours / Nursing Homes.
There is Full time nursing support.
The practices also offer the convenience of on-site Allied health services, including Dietetics, Psychology, Pharmacy and Pathology collection. Additional services are also available nearby, such as Radiology and Dental services. The practices have large fully equipped treatment and procedure rooms and nursing support for treatment room and chronic disease management care.
Each practice is managed by the experienced Practice Manager with support staff and online bookings.
All practices are well equipped with modern facilities.
There is a very strong medical community in the Locality, contributed to by public, private and teaching hospitals in the area, along with the University of Newcastle medical degree program.
The Practices promote Collegiality and will ensure you have access to training and education events to facilitate continuing medical education.
The Location
The Practices are based in the coastal city of Newcastle in the state of New South Wales, 2 hours north of Sydney. It is Australia's second oldest city after Sydney but is a lot more suited towards family living and not as expensive.
It has a population of half a million with everything from beaches, to street art, iconic ocean swimming pools and trendy bars and cafes.
The big attractions are its beautiful sandy surf beaches and Harbour with its laid back vibe and the chance to partake in aquatic sports including jet-skiing, sailing, surfing and diving amidst the stunning natural surroundings
Newcastle is also the gateway to the Hunter wine region and the area has a beautiful national park to explore.
In addition to the coastal living afforded by its close proximity to beautiful beaches and the wine regions of the Hunter, working in Newcastle also offers a choice of a metropolitan lifestyle but without the traffic, hustle or bustle normally associated with Sydney. And yet it remains close enough to offer easy access to Sydney for those post-work entertainment nights-out at iconic venues like the Sydney Opera House and a swift return home.
