Department for Health and Wellbeing – Commissioning and Performance – Data, Analysis, and Insights (DAI) Salary: $108,109 to $116,864 – ASO7 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 2 Years Overview: The Principal Data Analyst is responsible for the provision of an objective, accurate and responsive data analysis and information delivery service that facilitates high quality strategic and business decision-making all levels of governance. The Principal Data Analyst achieves the high-level objectives of the role through strong stakeholder engagement, visualisations, business knowledge and data quality assurance. Considered an expert in the field, a strong component of this role is the proactive leadership and development of staff within and outside the team. The position operates in a complex technical environment and provides customer focussed services to consumers including clinicians, the Minister, operational managers and executives to facilitate data driven decisions which ensure appropriate, safe and quality services for patients within the public health system in South Australia and beyond.
