Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse

* We require current AHPRA registration without restrictions or conditions.
* Bachelor's degree or diploma in nursing is necessary.
* Minimum of 12 months experience in an Australian hospital setting is required.
* Post-graduate in Mental Health or 12 months recent experience working in Mental Health is desirable.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems are essential.
Responsibilities:
* Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing assessments, and providing wound care.
* Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
* Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
