In this role, you will provide comprehensive physiotherapy services to patients with hypermobility disorders, addressing both the biomechanical challenges and the systemic manifestations that affect daily function and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments for patients with hypermobility disorders Develop and implement personalised treatment plans focused on joint protection, proprioception, and strength Address related conditions such as dysautonomia, POTS, and chronic pain syndromes Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care Provide education on self-management strategies specific to hypermobility Stay current with the latest research and advancements in hypermobility treatment Utilise our bespoke digital health platform, Biiography, for efficient patient management and care coordination The Ideal Candidate Will Possess: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration Specific training and experience in managing hypermobility disorders Understanding of the systemic nature of hypermobility conditions Knowledge of EDS diagnostic criteria and management approaches Experience in pain science and chronic pain management Excellence in clinical reasoning and patient-centred care Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit Comfort with digital health platforms and telehealth delivery Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development What We Offer: Flexible working arrangements starting from just 3 hours per week Opportunity to grow your caseload and hours at your own pace Supportive, collaborative team environment Access to our innovative digital health platform, Biiography The chance to shape the future of complex care delivery Location and Availability: Based in our Subiaco clinic Simple contractor arrangement with negotiable percentage split of billings If you are a Physiotherapist with a passion for improving the lives of individuals with hypermobility disorders through personalised, integrative care, we'd love to hear from you.
