Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Trade Planning and Execution Specialist to oversee the planning and execution of all BIG W discretionary space activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with Commercial, Planning, Marketing & Operations teams to deliver exceptional merchandising of our flexible spaces.
As part of this role, you will develop close working partnerships with Commercial and Leadership teams to deliver frameworks and processes that enable a best-in-class trade plan. You will also provide robust analytics and insights to continuous optimization of sales, GP$, cost-to-serve outcomes, and inventory investments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and execution of all BIG W discretionary space activities.
* Develop close working partnerships with Commercial and Leadership teams to deliver frameworks and processes that enable a best-in-class trade plan.
* Provide robust analytics and insights to continuous optimization of sales, GP$, cost-to-serve outcomes, and inventory investments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 3-6 years of commercial experience in a Commercial Role (Buying, Category Management, Planning).
* Strong analytical skills and comfortable utilizing data to make informed decisions.
* Experience with large-scale process improvement is desirable.
